Lol Maou's mother and cousin were probably going to make Chiho stop hanging around him after hearing Alas Ramus call him and Emi, Papa and Mama. It almost looked like Chiho had a crush on a married man.

I thought it was an interesting choice of not showing Emi's expression whilst teaching Maou about the best time to harvest, I wonder if she was enjoying reminiscing about her childhood memories, or was she in pain as she misses it, if she was annoyed at having to teach all this to him or if it was a mix of all three.
